Department of Immigration application fees will increase across the board by 15 percent from 1 September 2013, according to 2013-2014 Economic Statement published in August 2013.
The new fee will apply for most Australian visa applications but Student and Visitor visa category. The new fees for some of the most popular visas are as follows:
- 457 Temporary Worker (Skilled): $1,035 (from $900)
- Partner (Onshore): $4,575 (from $3975)
- Partner (Offshore): $3,085 (from $2680)
- General Skilled Migration: $3,520 (from $3060)
- Temporary Graduate 485: $1,440 (from $1250)
- Contributory Parent 2nd VAC: $48,550 (from $42,220)
